Real Techniques Brushes

Samantha Chapman is a brilliant make-up artist and beauty blogger, and has a fab range of brushes at Boots which I have recently discovered. I find that good brushes can make a huge difference to the finish of your make up, especially the base, and Samantha's range, called Real Techniques are fantastic for getting a high definition, flawless finish. Best of all, they're available from Boots at a good price point. My favourites are the Expert face brush, for applying foundation and buffing it in, the stippling brush for applying highlighter, and the fine liner brush for both eye lining and for pinpoint concealing of spots and blemishes (although don't use the same brush for both jobs, as you'll end up with black spots!)

The range has two core collections, one for face and one for eyes, which are both great if you need a few staple brushes. The face collection has a brilliant buffing brush, which makes foundation look seamless. 

Real Techniques brushes are available online and from most larger Boots stores (including the one at Fulham Broadway station). Prices start at £6.99 for the fine liner brush. The Core Collection is £21.99.
