As the month draws to a chilly close, I've rounded up my favourite products for this month. Along with the fabulous By Terry Baume de Rose and Superfacialist products, these are the things that I have really enjoyed using this month.
Elemis Tri Enzyme Resurfacing Mask
This is a product that has been around for a while, and I have recently re-found. It smooths, exfoliates and gives your skin a really good glow. I slap it on in the bath, instead of using my Clarisonic (I think using both would be too much for my skin), once or twice a week, and then either use a moisturising mask or a good serum, and tend to wake up with glow, fresh looking skin, that belies the lak of sleep I have had!
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector
My favourite makeup artist, Lisa Eldridge, uses this all the time in her videos, to get a glowy look with no sparkle. Catching my reflection in the mirror a few weeks ago, with a slightly sparkly highlighter on, I suddenly understood what she was talking about. Too much shimmer can be really ageing on tired skin, it almost sits in the lines and pores, and looks quite strange. So, I quickly purchased a Becca skin perfector (I opted for Moonstone, a peachy toned version), and think it really is brilliant. It is perfect for getting that super glowy, but not greasy look that I adore.
Xen Tan Face Tanner
I love a healthy glow on my face, especially in the winter months when everything starts looking a little drab. This facial tanner works as a fake tan and skin treatment at the same time, and gives a great colour to paler skin, without a greasy residue. It also smells nice!
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector, £33, available from Becca stores and counters, and online (I got mine from Cult Beauty)
Xen Tan Face Tanner, £12.95, available online
