We are heading off on holiday for a few days to Calcot Manor (review to follow!), so before we hit the road, I just had to share some brilliant things I have stumbled across this week, that all fall into the category of 'budget beauty'. I only write about thing that I genuinely love and actually work, and sadly that often happens to coincide with a hefty price tag, but these bits and bobs are all fantastic and won't break the bank!
No 7 Smokey Eye Brush
No 7 Sheer Temptation Lipstick
Similar to a gloss, and almost identical to Chanel Rouge Coco Shine, this lipstick is a great everyday, glossy and sheer lip colour. I love the shade Attract, which is a warm nude.
GOSH Eyebrow Kit
A dead ringer for the Benefit Brow zings kit, but a fraction of the price, this fab little palette contains three powders and a wax to give you perfectly defined brows without looking too heavy or drawn on.
Superfacialist by Una Brennan Rose Miracle Makeover Facial Oil
I know I have mentioned this brand a lot recently, but this facial oil is wonderful and I couldn't leave it out of a budget beauty post. It smells divine, and leaves skin soft and plump the next morning. I really love it, and love the price even more( especially as it is currently half price in Boots). It is definitely as good as some of the other oils I have tried which are double the price.
Botanics Hot Cloth Cleansing Balm
I'm going to say it, this is a blatant copy of the Eve Lom cleansing balm, but it works, smells good (herby almost) and leaves skin deeply cleansed, all for under £10. It's fab, I can't fault it at all. if you have been tempted to try Eve Lom or a similar, expensive cleansing balm, but not been sure, then this is the one for you. It even comes with a muslin cloth.
No 7 Smokey Eye Brush, £7.25 from Boots
No 7 Sheer Temptation Lipstick, £9 from Boots (I love the shade 10 Attract)
GOSH Eyebrow Kit, £8.49 from Superdrug
Superfacialist by Una Brennan Rose Miracle Makeover Facial Oil, usually £14.99, but currently £7.49 from Boots
Botanics Hot Cloth Cleansing Balm, £8.99 from Boots
