Liz Earle Colour

Liz Earle is one of those brands that every beauty editor seems to adore. Her Hot Cloth Cleanse and Polish wins rave reviews year after year, for its ability to deep cleanse the skin without drying or stripping it. I've used it and totally agree, it's gentle and kind to skin, but leaves it clean and fresh. This week the world of beauty has been abuzz with the launch of Liz Earle Colour, their first proper foray into the world of makeup.

The collection is designed to be totally wearable by all ages and skin types, enhancing natural beauty rather than masking your skin. Quick and easy to apply, it seems like a no brainer for busy mums. They released the Sheer Skin Tint in 2011, as a warm up for the range, which was a great tinted moisturiser style product. Adding a healthy glow and light coverage to skin, I loved it, and just hope the rest of the range is as good.

I've only tried out the Sheer Lipgloss, but can tell you it is long lasting, subtle and very glossy. I tried the Waterlily shade, which is a pale sheer nude with flecks of gold, so ideal for my tastes, but it comes in 12 shades. Petal looks like a lovely soft pink for summer.
