Biscuiteers Boutique

This weekend we were invited along to try out some biscuit decorating at the stunning Biscuiteers Boutique in Notting Hill. Biscuiteers make the most stunningly decorated biscuits, which are perfect for children's parties, as hostess gifts or just for a decadent treat. I bought the recipe book a while ago, and have tried (pretty unsuccessfully) to emulate some of their stunning designs, so was so excited to visit their icing boutique which some chief tasters (Fifi and Mr. G).

The boutique is like something straight out of a Roald Dahl book. The window display of an edible circus was mind blowing, as was the competely edible double decker bus, complete with dog (we sadly missed the Buckingham Palace with Royal family in situ display for the previous week).

Biscuiteers offer all sorts of icing classes and opportunities, from parties to more grown up masterclasses.  They also have a fab YouTube channel (click here to see it) with amazing icing tutorials, like this one.....

We stopped off for a drink and an informal icing session. we all picked our biscuits (there are lots of shapes to choose from, I opted for an elephant, Mr. G a gingerbread man, and Fifi a bunny) and were shown how the icing bags worked, and were left to ice and sprinkle to our hearts content.

It was such a fun way to spend an afternoon, we all loved it. Fifi especially adored the eating stage of proceedings.A perfect venue for a fabulous children's party, we will definitely be returning if Fifi or Mr. G have anything to do with it.
