Fit for Purpose

In the run up to a summer filled with bridesmaid duties, bikini wearing, and generally showing expanses of flesh that have not seen the light of day for a year or two, I've been trying to get as fit and toned as possible. A mixture of yoga, bootcamps in the park, running and personal training sessions are slowly starting to turn very wobbly flesh into something a little firmer. Being the vain creature that I am, I definitely find it easier to get in the mood for a exercise session if I'm wearing something glamorous yet comfortable.

My current obsession is with bright colour, and Lululemon make the the best colourful gym kit, which is also ridiculously comfortable. Their cropped trousers don't ride up or slide down, even when running, and the colour selection is immense.

For yoga, it's all about comfort for me. I've been wearing EKO yoga wear, which is so soft and comfortable. A Cornish company, focused on ethical and organic clothing that does the job and looks great. I love the sentiment and that it is UK based, and the Simple Suzie vest is so soft and easy to wear, I struggle to take it off.

Finally, after a long run or intensive yoga session, there is nothing like a long hot bath or reviving shower to make you feel amazing. Sweaty Betty have collaborated with Cowshed, to create a great range of products designed for invigorating or relaxing. The Fit Cow range is designed to freshen you up and reinvigorate  whilst Bendy Cow is all about relaxation for the more holistic workout.
